2 LT to MAJ at U.S. Army Reserve (1972 – 1992)

While I never served overseas and spent only four months on Active Duty, I consider my military training and experience to be one of the most valuable experiences in my life. I was commissioned through ROTC as a 2 LT, USAR, in July 1972. My reserve assignments included Transportation, Combat Engineer, and Civil Affairs units, as well as with the Engineer's Office at Ft. Dix and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District Office. In 1992, I was transferred to the Retired Reserve with the rank of Major.

My Military Education included:

•          U.S. Army Engineer Officer Advanced Course, Ft. Belvoir, VA – 1988

•          U.S. Army Civil Affairs Officer Advanced Course Ft. Bragg, SC - 1984

•          U.S. Army Transportation Officer Basic Course Ft. Eustis, VA – 1973
